Welcome to Flo Yoga - Your Yoga Sanctuary in the City
Ivy joined cross country training in her undergraduate Psychology study and started to learn stretching after training. She was introduced to yoga in 2011 while studying in London. After just a few classes, she realized that the effects of practicing not only helped to facilitate her muscle soreness recovery after jogging but also helped to bring a sense of peace and calm to her mind. She loves how yoga helps her to feel good physically, mentally and emotionally. After moving back to Hong Kong, she continued to practice and in 2015 completed a 200 hours’ Yoga Alliance registered teacher training program. She has been sharing her love of the practice with her students ever since.
Ivy is an occupational therapist registered in Hong Kong. It is a profession using a holistic approach in planning case treatment plans. With the exposure of different kinds of teacher training and academic training, she tries to use innovative teaching ways to bridge ancient yoga and mindfulness wisdom to modern life.
To her, yoga is a way of life. The real practice starts when you are off the mat, into the world. Her wish is for every student to experience health, joy and balance in class and bring it to their daily lives.
Ivy在大學修讀心理學時參加越野練習,並開始學習伸展運動。她在2011年在倫敦讀書時接觸瑜伽,並在回港後持續練習。在不斷練習中,她開始發現瑜伽除了幫助運動後肌肉的恢復,還幫助她找到內心的平靜。她發現瑜伽能幫助她身心靈的健康。她在2015年完成200小時瑜伽導師課程,並展開教導瑜伽的路。 Ivy是香港註冊的職業治療師。她希望利用職業治療與不同瑜伽課程所學到的知識,將瑜伽練習的好處帶給每一位學生。對她而言,瑜伽是一種生活方式。她覺得瑜伽墊上的練習能夠培養正念與平和喜悅,讓她能夠處理生活的難題與壓力。她通過瑜伽教學,希望每位學生都能找到身心健康,平衡的狀態。
